Share your thoughts at a community conversation

We are excited to announce two in-person community conversations in October 2023. The Children’s Opportunity Alliance brings together early childhood leaders with the goal of providing equitable access to early care and education in Montgomery County. Join us for an hour at this in-person event to help us improve early childhood education services for all young children and families in Montgomery County.

We invite parents, educators, and community members to come together and share their thoughts and ideas on how we can improve opportunities for children in our community. We want to hear about your experiences with early care and education programs and services in Montgomery County. What is working well? What can be improved? Let's work together to create a brighter future for all children.

In-person sessions:

  • Tuesday, October 3, 2023: 1 - 2 pm ET; Montgomery County Department of Health & Human Services Early Childhood Division

  • Wednesday, October 4, 2023: 7 - 8 pm ET; Wheaton Community Recreation Center

We will be offering Spanish translation for both Community Listening Sessions.

Please help us spread the word about these sessions, particularly to other parents of young children, childcare providers, and those deeply connected to early childhood issues.
