This report represents a year’s worth of research, analysis, partner collaboration, and conversations with stakeholders, and we are proud to share it with our broader audience.

We were proud to host interns through Summer RISE, an opportunity for rising MCPS juniors and seniors to participate in hands-on learning opportunities related to their field of interest. 

Many areas of our county and the state have deserts for infant and toddler care. Therefore, it is critical that we monitor the supply of all our seats from birth to pre-K, or else the expansion of pre-K will further exacerbate infant and toddler (child care) shortages.

We have opportunities to join the ECE space coming up, through an advocacy training or by joining an advisory group.

We are looking for both early childhood experts and community members to join three new advisory groups, focused on data, developing a common agenda, and engaging the business community.
