Montgomery County ECE Fiscal Map

We are excited to share Montgomery County's first fiscal map report on early care and education (ECE) investments. A fiscal map analysis answers a fundamental question: Who invests, how much, and in what? This report represents a year’s worth of research, analysis, partner collaboration, and conversations with stakeholders, and we are proud to share it with our broader audience. The fiscal map is intended to build understanding of public and private investments in the County's ECE system, and it will ultimately help us to identify funding gaps and make progress on the vision of a well-resourced early care and education system.

We invite you to join us for a webinar on Thursday, Oct. 24 at 1 PM ET to dig into the data collectively, discuss what is there and, perhaps more importantly, discuss what is missing. During the webinar, you’ll have an opportunity to engage with the data, ask questions, and provide feedback to inform future research and decision-making related to ECE funding.

The fiscal map will be an annual release for the Alliance, and we are eager to build on this initial report as we continue to work collectively to build a Montgomery County where every child can thrive.
